Computes irradiation-induced eigenstrains for pyrolytic carbon.

Description

pyrolytic carbon (PyC) experiences irradiation-induced strain which is a function of fluence. For low-density PyC, such as that used in the buffer layer of a TRISO fuel particle, the irradiation strain is given by Petti et al. (2004) as where is in units of and , the fluence, is in units of . Input Parameters

  • eigenstrain_nameMaterial property name for the eigenstrain tensor computed by this model. IMPORTANT: The name of this property must also be provided to the strain calculator.
