MASTODON Communication and Contact Information

Introduction

The Communication and Contact Information (CCI) for provides information for contacting the software development team for all aspects of MASTODON. This includes information about reporting a problem with a release, asking questions regarding any version of the software, and contributing to the project.

General Communication

This section details how to communicate with the MASTODON development team to get help, report a suspected bug, or request an enhancement.

The best way to contact the MASTODON team is through the mastodon-users google group.

To join the group, GMail users can just click the "Join group" button. Non-GMail users must send an email to:

[email protected]

commentnote

INL users using their inl.gov email will not be able to post in the group, but will be able to receive emails and view existing posts. Instead, they can create new posts by sending an email to [email protected]. Alternatively, they can join this group using a non-INL email address.

Problem Reporting

This section details how to communicate with the MASTODON development team to report a potential problem with a specific release of the application.

If you are having a problem with MASTODON, please use the mastodon-users google group to report the problem. If you have found a bug, you can also open an issue in the MASTODON GitHub page.
