CreateExecutionerAction

Add an Executioner object to the simulation.

This action can add a default preconditioner for each nonlinear system that does not have one specified in the [Preconditioning] block. This action examines the parameter in the [Executioner] block for consistency with the Problem.

More information about Executioners may be found on the Executioners syntax documentation.

Input Parameters

  • active__all__ If specified only the blocks named will be visited and made active

    Default:__all__

    C++ Type:std::vector<std::string>

    Controllable:No

    Description:If specified only the blocks named will be visited and made active

  • auto_preconditioningTrueWhen true, the application will attempt to use the correct preconditioning given the Executioner settings for the nonlinear systems that do not have a preconditioner in the [Preconditioning] block.

    Default:True

    C++ Type:bool

    Controllable:No

    Description:When true, the application will attempt to use the correct preconditioning given the Executioner settings for the nonlinear systems that do not have a preconditioner in the [Preconditioning] block.

  • inactiveIf specified blocks matching these identifiers will be skipped.

    C++ Type:std::vector<std::string>

    Controllable:No

    Description:If specified blocks matching these identifiers will be skipped.

Optional Parameters

  • control_tagsAdds user-defined labels for accessing object parameters via control logic.

    C++ Type:std::vector<std::string>

    Controllable:No

    Description:Adds user-defined labels for accessing object parameters via control logic.
